I always feel like there’s something magic in recording studios. There’s a reason good music continues to be made in them. It’s just some mojo element.
While amateur artists usually only spend a very short period of time in the studio (get in, record, mix and get out, everything usually within less than three weeks), most professional artists – including many of the Masters Of The Past – spent a lot of time in the studio. This allowed them to experiment with new ideas, as well as to refine their songs, or even to write completely new material when needed.
