Artwork & production

Only 183 pages left on your journey to becoming a rock star!

The last things you’ll need to care about at this stage are the album artwork and the manufacturing of your physical record. Customers usually care about the packaging of a product, and your cover image may also get a lot of attention already – so you’ll have to make sure that your packaging will look great and that it will impress.

SOME PEOPLE WILL TELL YOU THAT IN THE AGE OF STREAMING ALL OF THIS WILL NOT BE IMPORTANT ANYMORE, BUT THAT’S BULLSHIT OF COURSE.

Nobody thought that the design or even the colour of a computer would be important until Apple introduced the iMac in 1998. People do care about the look of a product – you would never buy an ugly car even if it would still safely get you from A to B, and you still care about the colour of your clothes even if the colour itself has no impact on the basic goal to just cover your body and to keep you warm.

You may have to wait a few more days to read it...
