Sound & style

Only 360 pages left on your journey to becoming a rock star!

Your own style and sound

A musician should only sound like what they do, and no two musicians sound the same. It’s an individual-feel thing, you know.
–Dave Grohl

Your music style (you may also call it your sound) is way more important than the genre you have picked.

You’ll have to create your own style that has to be different, unique, and easy to identify.

This is a very important step, and you should work this out before starting to write new songs and before taking any further steps. If you don’t get this right, then you probably won’t succeed, so you should take this very seriously.

If you get it right however, then your chances to become successful with your music will be way higher than ever before, and you may end up on a completely new level.

Playing just some genre means that you will be boring. Either discover new extremes in your preferred genre, or invent a new sub-genre by mixing existing genres.
